| THEOLIA announces commissioning of a 8 MW wind farm in France (2008/12/19 5:45 PM) Press release
THEOLIA announces the industrial commissioning of Centrale Eolienne de Sallen in Calvados, Normandy. THEOLIA, via its subsidiary Ventura, initiated development of this project in March 2002. The building permit was filed in June 2004, granted in July 2005 and construction began in December 2007. The wind farm, entirely developed by the Group, consists of four Enercon wind turbines for a total installed capacity of 8 MW. The expected annual electricity production of this wind farm is 17.5 million kWh per year. The electricity produced from this plant will benefit from the fixed feed-in tariff recently reinstated in France.
