Thanks to favorable wind conditions in the third quarter of 2015, the Sales of electricity activity recorded a revenue of 35.9 million euros for the first nine months of 2015, up by + 8%, despite the reduction in the capacity operated for own account, following the sale of an operating wind farm in August 2014.

The Sales of electricity activity, which relies on 15- to 20-year electricity buy-back contracts, benefits from a recurring revenue and significant margins over the long term. This secure activity accounts for 87% of the consolidated revenue for the first nine months of 2015.

The Development and management of wind farms activity was penalized as no sale of wind farm or project occurred during the first nine months of 2015, while a wind farm was sold in August 2014. On the contrary, favorable wind conditions helped increase the revenue from the operation of wind farms on behalf of third parties.

The Group does no longer register any non-wind activity since the disposal of the solar park at the end of May 2014.

FUTUREN actively pursues its development policy that aims to commission wind farms for own account and thereby strengthen its main Sales of electricity activity. The Group is currently finalizing the construction of the Haute Borne wind farm which will be commissioned by the end of the year. FUTUREN launched the construction of the Chemin Perré wind farm in September 2015 and will launch a new construction site in the Aube French department in the coming months.
